The Organization

The Organization is incorporated as an Ohio Corporation and established as a 503(C4) non-profit corporation with the Internal Revenue Service.


The Executive Committee is comprised of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and Secretary-Treasurer.  They shall be elected by written ballot of the general membership.  The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson serve a term of six (6) months (January through June; and, July through December).  The Secretary-Treasurer serves a term of twelve (12) months (January through December). Officers shall not serve more than two consecutive terms in the same office unless there is no other candidates that step forward to fill the vacancy.  If this should happen, they may serve for additional terms by majority vote until a new officer can be found.  A dues credit equal to four (4) months for each six-month period served is to be applied toward the dues following the term served to all persons serving in one of these roles.

Annual Dues

Dues will be charged to cover the expenses of the meetings and overall financial needs of the organization.

The amount of dues is established by the membership, and can be adjusted periodically based upon need. The moneys in excess of the operating expenses are used to establish scholarships for Ashtabula County residents to further their education in a business or professional career.
